Privacy policy
This is a static site with no accounts, no logins, no comments and no forms, which removes most of the reasons a website collects anything about the people visiting it.
What follows describes what still happens when you arrive, and what you are able to do about each part of it.
What we collect ourselves
Nothing that identifies you. There is no account system, no newsletter signup and no comment section anywhere on the site. We set no advertising cookies and we sell no data, for the straightforward reason that we hold none to sell.
Our hosting provider processes standard server request logs, IP address and user agent among them, in order to serve pages and mitigate abuse. Those logs are retained by the provider under its own policy, and we do not use them to assemble a profile of you.
Cookies, and what a partner link sets
This site sets no cookies of its own. When you click a partner link, the affiliate network on the other end sets one so the vendor can attribute a purchase to us. That happens on the destination site, under that network’s policy, and only after you have chosen to click.
Cookie lifetimes vary by programme, typically falling between 30 and 60 days. Blocking third-party cookies, or navigating to the vendor directly, prevents attribution entirely and changes nothing about what you pay or what we recommend. The affiliate disclosure covers how those links are marked.
Analytics
Where analytics runs on this site, it is configured to be aggregate and cookieless: page views and referrers only, with no cross-site tracking, no personal identifiers and no profiles built from either.
To confirm before launch: name the analytics provider actually deployed, its data region and its retention period, or state plainly that no analytics runs at all.
The rights you hold
Under the GDPR and equivalent regimes you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of personal data held about you, and you may object to its processing. Because this site holds no personal data beyond provider-level server logs, most such requests will be answered by directing you to the hosting provider or the affiliate network concerned.
You also hold the right to complain to your data protection supervisory authority, and exercising any of these rights costs nothing.
Changes to this policy
Material changes are reflected in the update date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised policy as it then stands.
Reaching us about privacy
Send privacy requests to the address below and mark the subject line accordingly, which keeps them out of the general inbox and gets them answered faster.
To confirm before launch: the legal entity responsible for this site, its registered address, and a data protection contact where one is required in your jurisdiction.
