AniEraser review: 8.8/10 on price, output and device coverage
Nothing here is built to get from a marked file to a finished one faster. Draw a rough box, let it fill, collect the export. That is the whole workflow, and it earned 8.8/10 in this comparison plus first place on the browser watermark remover ranking. One $9.99 account follows you from a browser tab to the desktop app to an iPhone.
Specialist work is another matter. Put movement behind the mark and it ghosts where HitPaw stays solid; hand it a semi-transparent mark spread over the whole frame and it simply loses. Subscribe for frequent small jobs on whatever device is nearest. Buy HitPaw when the footage fights back.

Is an AniEraser subscription money well spent?
- Buy it
- Right call when a handful of marked files pass through each week and you want one tool answering on phone, browser and desktop alike.
- Skip it
- Wrong call for footage where the camera travels, or for translucent marks covering the frame. That is HitPaw ground.
- Instead
- HitPaw Watermark Remover (9.2/10) costs more and takes the difficult work: movement behind the mark, five modes to choose from, thirty-file queues.
How AniEraser compares with the rest of the bench
8.7/10 overall, against 8.4 for the 13 removers in this comparison.
Ease of use tops the entire bench at 9.5 against a 9.0 average, and it is not a soft score. Nothing else we compared absorbs a careless selection this gracefully. Output quality of 9.0 clears the 8.4 average, though that figure is built almost entirely on stills and marks that stay put.
The speed number rewards a closer look. It reads 8.6 once upload time is counted, and the product is built around reaching a first usable result in one pass rather than a careful one. Batch handling at 8.2 reflects a queue that exists and is documented as shallow.
Value at 8.4 assumes the yearly plan. On monthly billing the same app would sit closer to 7.6, because $9.99 a month against a $39.99 year is a poor trade for anyone who keeps the tool past four months.
AniEraser put through our photo, video and batch files
Every tool on this site runs the same 12 files. These are the four that decide the score.
-
Stamps and corner logos on six photographs
The photo files are where AniEraser is happiest. Text stamps and corner logos over painted walls, open sky and product backdrops vanished on the first attempt, and a deliberately careless brush stroke well outside the mark still produced a clean fill. Only the tiled mark laid across patterned fabric showed any softening under full zoom.
That tolerance is the actual product. Tools with a higher peak, Photoshop first among them, make you pay for an imprecise selection. AniEraser assumes you will make one and plans around it.
-
Video: quick on fixed marks, candid about movement
A fixed corner logo on a 1080p clip is the case it is fastest at, and it is what the marketing leads on. A moving background writes a different review: with no motion tracking documented anywhere in the product, the fill has nothing to follow, and there is no setting that changes that.
Draw the buying line right there. Mark stays still, any device: this. Camera moves: the video ranking points somewhere else, and it is not close.
-
One subscription across browser, Windows and iOS
We pushed identical files through the browser, the Windows build and the iOS app on a single subscription. Output matched on all three, and beginning a job on a phone before finishing it at a desk cost nothing in friction. Nothing else on the bench manages this.
The desktop build adds only offline capability and comfort with large files. The iPhone app is the one that genuinely changes what the tool is, because it turns AniEraser into the remover you happen to be carrying.
-
Where the queue starts to labour
Fifteen files went through correctly with per-file selections intact, but throughput fell away noticeably after the tenth and the queue runs strictly in series, with no shared selection across files carrying the same mark. Our 30-file benchmark took more than three times what HitPaw needed.
For the two-or-three-file jobs this tool is designed around, none of that registers. For genuine batch work, the batch watermark ranking is the page that matters.
AniEraser pricing, the free 720p allowance and the Media.io bundle
Checked on the Wondershare checkout in August 2026. One account, every platform included.
| Plan | Price | What it unlocks |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly | $9.99 per month | Full-resolution exports without limit on web, desktop and iOS |
| Yearly Our pick | $39.99 per year | Identical access for what four months would otherwise cost |
| Bundle | $12.99 per month | AniEraser alongside the Media.io toolset, 35 % off at present |
How far the free AniEraser allowance goes
Three exports, ceiling of 720p, nothing stamped on the output, and video counts. As free allowances go that is genuinely workable, and the resolution cap only bites when the source was larger to begin with, which a clip shot for social rarely is.
Those three are a lifetime total rather than a daily reset. Spend them on files you actually care about and judge the fill for yourself, which is precisely their purpose and a straighter deal than most free tiers we lined up.
Choosing between monthly, yearly and the bundle
The yearly plan is the obvious purchase, costing a third of twelve monthly payments for something you will open most weeks. Monthly billing only makes sense around a single project with a known end date.
The live bundle attaches Media.io and its twenty-odd web tools at 35 % off, which prices the second product at close to nothing. If removal from a browser is ever going to be useful, that is the smarter basket.
What AniEraser does well, and where it gives up
- A single login carries the same project across browser, desktop and iPhone
- Sloppy brushwork still fills cleanly, so precision is optional
- Built around one fast pass rather than a careful one, on any device
- Nothing leaves the free tier above 720p
- Semi-transparent marks spread across the whole frame defeat it

AniEraser vs HitPaw
HitPaw Watermark Remover scores 9.2/10. The one tool that held a clean edge while the camera moved, and the steadiest result on video overall.
AniEraser vs Media.io
Media.io Watermark Remover scores 8.6/10. The best of the pure web tools, and the obvious answer when installing anything is off the table.
AniEraser vs Cleanup.pictures
Cleanup.pictures scores 8.1/10. Ideal for the image in front of you; the 720 px free ceiling stops it being a working tool.
App watermark guides that call for AniEraser
AniEraser appears as a recommended route in these app guides, each of which still opens on the official fix.
Remove the Sora watermark
A logo that drifts around the frame on everything the free tier renders
Remove the TikTok watermark
A roaming @username tag baked into anything downloaded from the app
Remove the Veo watermark
A logo in the corner, backed by a SynthID signature you cannot see
Remove the Filmora watermark
A full-width logo parked in the centre of the frame on every trial render
AniEraser questions we get asked most
Does AniEraser earn its subscription?
For frequent quick removals it does: 8.8/10, built for speed over depth, on a single plan spanning browser, desktop, iPhone and Android. It stops earning it on moving-background video, where HitPaw was the only clean answer we found.
How much of AniEraser can you use for nothing?
Three exports with a 720p ceiling, no stamp added, video included in the allowance. Beyond those, pricing opens at $9.99 monthly, and the $39.99 yearly plan is the one we would actually buy.
Will AniEraser clear a logo from a video?
From a stationary one, comfortably, and quickly. Camera movement marks the boundary: the fill has no motion tracking to follow, where HitPaw documents exactly that, and nothing in the AniEraser settings substitutes for it.
AniEraser or HitPaw: which suits your files?
Pick AniEraser for speed, price and device coverage; pick HitPaw for awkward video, large queues and manual control. They come from the same corporate family and divide the work cleanly. Still marks, save your money. Moving camera, spend it.
Do your files leave your machine?
On web and iOS they do, processed on Wondershare servers exactly as any browser tool would. The desktop build keeps everything local. For files under a confidentiality agreement, use the desktop app or something fully offline.
What should you look at instead of AniEraser?
HitPaw when the video is difficult. Dewatermark.ai when staying free on stills matters more than anything. Media.io for browser work with automatic app-mark detection, and the current bundle attaches it to AniEraser for very little.
Can AniEraser take a watermark off a PDF?
No. It handles images and video only, so a DRAFT overlay or a trial stamp inside a document is outside its scope entirely. Our [PDF watermark ranking](/pdf-watermark-remover/) covers the two tools that passed that test.
The short answer on AniEraser
8.8/10 in this comparison, the quickest first result on the bench, and one subscription that follows you between phone, browser and desktop.
