CapCut vs Filmora: which editor exports without a watermark?

The table splits four rows each, and Filmora edges it on the overall score, 8.5/10 against 8.3. It reconstructs better, holds a real object remover for third-party logos, and $49.99 a year undercuts CapCut Pro’s $19.99 a month by a wide margin over twelve months.

CapCut wins on speed and on reach. It is quicker to drive, quicker to export, and it runs on five platforms with a project that moves from phone to desktop untouched. If your work is short-form and the only mark you fight is CapCut’s own end-card, that is the shorter route.

Choose CapCut Pro if

  • The mark you want gone is the CapCut end-card — Pro drops it from every future export.
  • You edit on a phone and finish on a desktop without re-importing anything.
  • You want auto-captions and the Pro effect library rather than a full editing suite.

Choose Filmora if

  • You want the export mark gone for a one-off price, not a monthly one.
  • You need to remove a third-party logo from footage, which CapCut has no tool for.
  • You brand clips as well as clean them — saved presets run a whole folder in one pass.

A subscription against a licence

Both marks are the vendor’s own, and in both cases the vendor sells the only clean fix. Filmora’s centred mark is the harsher of the two, since a mark over the middle of the frame is the worst case for any remover you might try afterwards. CapCut’s end-card can at least be cut off, at the cost of the last seconds of the clip.

Over a year Filmora costs less and does more, which is why it takes the verdict. CapCut earns its place on tempo: for daily short-form, the difference between an editor that exports in seconds and one that takes a project is worth more than the invoice. The CapCut and Filmora guides cover each mark on its own.

CapCut Pro vs Filmora FAQ

Is CapCut or Filmora cheaper?

Filmora, over any period longer than three months: $49.99 a year against $19.99 a month. The Filmora licence covers the current major version only, so a future upgrade is a fresh purchase.

Which one removes a watermark that came from another app?

Filmora. Its object remover handles third-party logos without leaving the timeline, scoring 8.6/10 on output quality. CapCut has no equivalent tool — it only controls its own end-card.

Can I remove the CapCut watermark without paying?

Only by staying on free templates and effects, which export clean. Once a Pro asset is in the project the end-card is appended, and trimming it costs you the tail of the clip. Details in the [CapCut watermark guide](/remove-capcut-watermark/).

Does Filmora watermark every free export?

Yes, a centred mark across the middle of the render, on every project. There is no setting that turns it off and no export path around it; the licence is the only route to a clean file.

Filmora takes it

Filmora won 4 of the 10 rows above and scores 8.5/10 overall. CapCut Pro is still the better answer in the cases listed above.
